Über Anne Hufnagl
Anne Hufnagl wurde 1987 in Oschatz (Sachsen) geboren. Bereits in Jugendtagen entwickelte sie eine Leidenschaft für Fotografie und die gerade aufkommenden Möglichkeiten digitaler Nacharbeit.
Anfangs bebilderte die Künstlerin vor allem Musiker und Konzerte. Mit Anfang Zwanzig machte sich Anne mit der Fotografie selbstständig und fokussierte sich auf Eventfotos. Bald jedoch kristallisierte sich eine Leidenschaft für Porträts heraus, welche die Künstlerin zunächst in der Modefotografie verfolgte. Unzufrieden mit der Künstlichkeit und Menschenunfreundlichkeit des Business verschob Anne den Fokus ihrer Bilder alsbald hin zu nahbaren, wiedererkennbaren Porträts im Bereich Wirtschaft und Politik. Dieser Kundenkreis erweiterte sich über die Jahre auch auf Personen der Medienlandschaft und Zeitgeschichte.
Für ihre Porträts und Porträtserien arbeitet Anne nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern regelmäßig auch im Ausland, unter anderem in Großbritannien, Schweden, den USA und in Indien.
Im September 2022 erfüllte sich die Künstlerin mit der Eröffnung ihres Artist Workspace im Herzen von Berlin den lang gehegten Traum, ihrer Kunst ein nicht nur geistiges, sondern physisches, besuch- und erlebbares Zuhause zu geben.
Born 1987 in Oschatz (Germany), Portrait Artist Anne Hufnagl already took up photography during her teenage years, inspired by the rise and possibilities of digital photography and editing.
Starting out by portraying musicians and concerts, which she regularly frequented as a teenager, Anne officially became a freelance photo artist in her early twenties. Though she did focus on photographing events at first, Anne soon realized that her true talent lied with portrait photography. She went to photograph campaigns in the fashion industry, but quickly left this path, being unhappy with how artificial and unkind the whole business was. Anne then shifted her focus to relatable and unique portraits for politicians and industry leaders. By now, her portfolio of clients spans not only those, but also a wide range of people from the media industry and Zeitgeist personas.
For her portrait art, Anne frequently works abroads, for example in Great Britain, Sweden, in the U.S. and in India.
In September 2022 the Artist established her very own Artist Workspace right in the heart of Berlin, thereby fullfilling her longtime wish to give not only a theoretical, but a physical home to all of her Art, where people can actually visit, experience and even join the creative process.
